I attended the Weather Modification Association’s annual meeting aboard the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA, April 27-29, 2016. I’d hoped to speak on my paper, “Human Health Impacts of Proposed Geoengineering Solutions,” but they wouldn’t accept it, despite submitting my abstract on time.

Although nobody would go on record to officially admit the existence of the covert spraying program, several attendees privately thanked me for my work. The WMA is the trade association for the non-covert spraying program – seeding clouds with silver iodide to make it rain and reduce hailstone size – but I told them that they did themselves a disservice by hiding the covert program. They didn’t want public wrath directed at themselves.
